Flailing around the painting class has been interesting. I am a little behind but I can make it up if I can just get this whole mixing of colors right without using phthalo to make better, more brighter blues & greens. Curse you & your ultramarine blue
Japanese Modern History has been one of my favorite classes. Unlike the Roman Art/Architecture class & the Speech class. Oceanography is interesting when it's the Lecture but the Lab is like torture, the math in the Lab will be my ultimate downfall D:
I'm working on two art experiments in my procrastination. One is an abuse of the pattern tool & the other is still as it was. I'm just too busy to spend as much time as I would like to devote to it to actually open it up & work on it. Hopefully I'll be able to upload some more photos of my vacation soon... but that's a geologist's soon mind you. I have no idea when exactly I'll be able to get much done as it is with all this homework buzzing around my head.
I got a copy of the Melody of Oblivion which was awesome. I rediscovered The Creatures (Technno-Goth-Punk-(&-Occasionally-Ethnic)-Band), finished watching Flame of Recca, Soul Eater & D.N.Angel. I am also realizing the immense slash potential of just about everything in Shaman King.
My ipod is now renamed CRUNK for the interesting sound it made when it decided to completely erase all the stuff I put on it, on it's own.
In other news I had an interesting experience today. While waiting for my Lab class to begin I was wandering around the Pillsbury building when I happened to pass an office door that I hadn't seen open before and inside I saw a gigantic Tyrannosaurus Rex skull. I must have made a sigh of love for the teacher who was working in his office heard me & turned around to ask me what I needed. I said "Oh sorry I was just admiring your skull.......sss." I had to pause for a second because it was then I noticed quite a few other skulls & added the plural "sss" a little too late. He then went on to explain what each of them were and how a few of them were the original inspiration for some of the mythical monsters (ie. dragons, griffins, etc.) that are so popular today. He also talked about a few myths/legends I hadn't heard about before.
Either way, he had a few beautiful examples
Anyway now on to other business.

If you squint at your screen, the pretty letters look like they are dancing. Dance away, sweet alphabet! How your seductive gyrations beckon with the promise of linguistic fulfillment!
This always makes me happy :3
sorry that this is... well, far too late. As I am desperately locked in a battle with procrastination and homework, I haven't had a chance to even look at all the pages I normally look at :<
